PERSONAL MISSION:
 
My goal for coaching goalkeepers is to develop their technical skills, tactical awareness, and mental resilience. I want to provide a supportive environment where they can master the fundamentals of goalkeeping, such as positioning, shot-stopping, and distribution. Equally important is fostering their confidence and decision-making abilities, so they can perform effectively under pressure. By focusing on both the physical and psychological aspects of the role, I aim to help young goalkeepers become not only proficient athletes but also leaders on and off the field, with a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and rewards of their position.
 
LIGHT BULB MOMENT:

One major turning point in my soccer career was achieving my goal of playing college soccer, only to face a significant setback when a serious injury forced me to step away from the game. This experience dramatically shifted my perspective, teaching me the importance of resilience and adaptability. It also sparked a new passion for coaching, as I realized the impact I could have by sharing my experiences and guiding others through their own challenges.

ONE THING I'D CHANGE IN SOCCER:

If I could make one change in youth soccer, I would prioritize integrating mental skills training into the regular practice regimen. This would involve teaching young players techniques for managing stress, enhancing focus, and building confidence. By incorporating mental resilience and emotional intelligence alongside technical and tactical training, we can better equip goalkeepers to handle the pressures of competition, foster a positive mindset, and improve overall performance.
