PERSONAL MISSION:
 
I want to help/ make sure kids realize they have a bigger purpose/ identity in life beyond just playing a sport and winning games.  My goal is to build their confidence through soccer in a way that benefits them in every aspect of life; not just on the soccer field.
 
LIGHT BULB MOMENT(S):
 

• Realizing the impact different coaches had on my life and how they helped me realize I’m more than a sport.  Also learning that there’s ways to enjoy soccer without it being your entire existence and myself striving to be that coach/person for the next generation.​
   

• Beginning to coach/ learning through The QTSD™ "Future Coach Mentorship", and being able to see players’ confidence grow, their hard work pay off, and getting to celebrate the “small” wins with them!

ONE THING I'D CHANGE IN SOCCER:

 

I'd change a couple including:

 

• Include more psychology into the game at a youth level.
   

• Encourage coaches (and players) to learn more about what will really work for their players so they can be successful beyond their playing careers; avoiding turning the sport they love into a stressor (unfortunately too common for many players).
   

• ​Encourage coaches to realize/ remember their athletes are people before they’re pieces of a game.
