PERSONAL MISSION:
 
I want to preserve the love of the game for players by growing their mindsets and abilities.
 
LIGHT BULB MOMENT:

For me, soccer has always been an up and down relationship. Somedays I would want to hang up my cleats for good while others I could not imagine my life without the game.  It took me years to realize that I l truly loved the sport, but that I was in a hostile atmosphere. To solve this, I took the time to learn different aspects of the game and coaching was a natural fit.

I love coaching as I get to create an atmosphere for athletes that is safe for them to grow and enjoy soccer all while teaching them how to navigate hostile environments and pressure; both in soccer AND life!   I want to provide other players the outlet I needed so dearly as youth athlete and pay back all the things soccer has taught me.

ONE THING I'D CHANGE IN SOCCER:

I would like to see a change in the mentality of many coaches. I feel that certain coaches are driven to win at all costs and keep power over the players INSTEAD of focusing on develop athletes into the best soccer players and people they can be. It does not matter if a person moves clubs or teams, a coach should want what is best for that player; both mentally and developmentally.
